How to Clean & Care for Men's Jewellery

Quality stainless steel jewellery is low-maintenance by design — but a little care keeps it gleaming for years. Here's all you need to know.

Everyday care

Wipe your jewellery occasionally with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and keep the shine. That's genuinely most of it.

For a deeper clean

  1. Mix warm water with a little mild soap.
  2. Soak the piece for a few minutes.
  3. Gently scrub crevices with a soft brush (an old toothbrush works).
  4. Rinse with clean water and dry fully with a soft, lint-free cloth.

What to avoid

  • Harsh chemicals like bleach, and strong solvents.
  • Abrasive cloths or scourers that can scratch the finish.
  • Storing pieces loose together — they can scratch each other.

Storage

Keep pieces separate and dry — a travel box or pouch prevents tangling and scratches.

Do you need to polish it?

No. Unlike sterling silver, 316L stainless steel doesn't tarnish, so it never needs chemical polishing. The 18K gold PVD finish is bonded to the steel and built to last. (More: does stainless steel jewellery tarnish?)
